Dear Smart Girl was founded in 2018 by Abi Olukeye, with the vision to create a powerful ecosystem of products to sustain long term engagement in STEM for young girls. Our mission is to facilitate exciting and impactful learning experiences that promote STEM career literacy and instill confidence for the next generation of learners.
Abi Olukeye, our founder and CEO, has over 15 years of experience in product development, technology commercialization, process improvement, and strategy. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Indiana University. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, she now lives in Charlotte, NC, with her husband and two daughters who inspire her work.
