Trevor Elliott MBE is the founder and CEO of Kennedy Elliott, and founder of the charity Children We Care For. He is a leading voice in children’s social care, fostering and support for vulnerable young people, with more than a decade’s experience working with children and young people. Trevor began by founding youth clubs and football academies before becoming one of the UK’s youngest foster carers. From the age of 24, he fostered four teenage boys for up to six years, an experience that shaped his commitment to improving care and support for vulnerable young people. He later went on to open residential children’s homes, expanding his work to provide specialist care, accommodation and support for children and young people affected by trauma, instability, exploitation and unmet needs. In 2020, Trevor was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the Birthday Honours List for his services to vulnerable children.
