Dr. Brian Blackwood is a trauma and general surgeon and has been practicing in Lakewood, Colorado for over a decade. He currently serves as the Trauma Medical Director at CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital’s Level 1 Trauma Center. Dr. Blackwood's expertise lies in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Rush University and Cook Hospital in Chicago. He then moved to Colorado where he completed his fellowship in surgical critical care at University of Colorado School of Medicine.
